As I recover from the festivities of Bitcoin 2024 and process what a whirlwind it all was, I'm more glad than ever to have made the journey again (it was my first time in Tennessee).
Although Bitcoin is a wholly digital asset, this was another reminder that the phenomenon extends into 3D and brings together many unique humans: artists, entrepreneurs, freedom lovers, activists, and everything in between. I'm here for all of them.
If you've never been to a Bitcoin conference, I suggest you plan for the next one. For those who aren't the conference type, keep reading until the end for my ultimate suggestion!
Until then, here's a recap of some of the Sazmining adventures in Nashville and beyond π

Guess who's the director of Dirty Coin βοΈ
"Bitcoin mining is dirty! It uses so much energy, it needs to be banned."
I bet you've heard sentiments like this, even if you're a casual Bitcoiner. Sometimes, it doesn't matter how many studies you cite or how many Daniel Batten tweets you bring up...some people will only be convinced by stories.
Human stories, stories of real people whose lives have been improved by Bitcoin mining that connect us and make us empathize with the potential of this technology. Until recently, these weren't out there in one amazing package.
"Dirty Coin" is a crucial piece that challenges the common misconception that Bitcoin mining harms the environment. It enlightens us about its potential as a solution to the world's energy challenges, especially with the right regulations and technological innovations. This documentary informs us about how Bitcoin mining can benefit renewable energy and stabilize the grid while looking brilliant from an artistic perspective.
That's why we had to support this film by Alana Mediavilla as a Visionary Sponsor, and you'll see our name in the credits alongside some other well-known players.
The Saz team had a fantastic time meeting Alana in Nashville and are excited about the documentary's continued success when it releases in theaters this October. As advocates for sustainable Bitcoin mining, we're honored to be part of this groundbreaking project and look forward to the ongoing dialogue it inspires about the future of energy and technology!
The S21 Pros are the ultimate choice for serious miners!
With an incredible hashing power of 234 TH/s, these machines are setting new standards in efficiency and performance. Both novice and veteran miners are raving about how these state-of-the-art rigs are transforming their mining operations.
At Saz, we strive to offer the latest mining rigs at the best prices. However, if Bitcoin's price experiences a significant surge, our rig prices may adjust accordingly. Seize this amazing deal now before Bitcoin's bullish momentum influences pricing.

One of the most surreal things about BTC 2024 was the number of politicians who attended and spoke to a Bitcoin-only audience. Not only was this unthinkable just last year, but it says something big: Bitcoin is no longer something the political class can ignore.
Whatever you think about each player and their promises, there's a lot of signal and good info to be gleaned from RFK Jr.'s keynote speech in case you missed it. It's clear he's put in his 100 hours of research!
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Bitcoin 2024 Keynote Speech π
In this keynote speech at Bitcoin 2024, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. outlines his vision for integrating Bitcoin into America's economic and national security strategies:
If you got to walk around the exhibit hall for a bit, you might have noticed something interesting:
Virtually all the big booths (and much of the interior) were dedicated to Bitcoin mining. Only a few fancy apps, barely any crypto nonsense, and none of the lending or institutional players seen at prior conferences bothered to make an appearance.
The question then is: why?
Is Bitcoin mining becoming more valuable as Bitcoin appreciates and is gobbled up by large players? Do people finally recognize that mining is the purest way to get Bitcoin, regardless of regulations or location?
My thesis, which I've stated numerous times elsewhere, is that we will all be Bitcoin miners one day.
After all, that's what Satoshi intended!
I've attached a great reminder of the Bitcoin halving schedule and some analysis from our friends at Swan to remind you that it's never too late to start mining - well, anytime before 2032 (when 99% of all Bitcoin will be mined)! π
Even though I've been to multiple Bitcoin conferences and meetups, this one hit a bit differently.
My PSA is this: although it might seem daunting initially, I'd urge anyone (even if you're just Bitcoin curious) to log off and go to a Bitcoin meetup near you. While it's not guaranteed, the chance of some synchronicity happening (and the possibility of a new friend) is too big to pass up.
I know it seems unlikely in such a chaotic age, but you just have to experience it once to believe it. Shake someone's hand, hug them, and perhaps bond over an orange or two (see what I did there?).
When you're ready to start mining BTC using 100% hydropower, everyone at Saz is here to help you sail onward into a bright orange future.
